CURRENT PRIORITIES

Current Priorities

On this page you will find some of the most prevailing issues within African communities at different locations in Australia. We encourage you as you read this page to contact us and flag anything new that may not be listed here, but which you believe requires attention within African communities, whatever location you may be in  the country.

One of the key objectives of our Helpline service is to help African-Australian individuals and communities to deal with issues they are facing. Our large database has a high number of individuals an organisations who provide services either as volunteers or professionals (charging a fee).

If you are going through issues, do not suffer silently, contact us and we may be able to find someone who can help you or give you useful information that may assist you to solve the problem you are confronted with. We do not make any promise other than trying to empower you with information and/ or connect you to people, organisations and businesses that may be of assistance to you.

The individuals and organisations who are in our data base are largely  Africans themselves or culturally competent enough to appropriately deal with African clients. This is why our services may provide more value to Africans, because we work with those who know the culture and who are willing to help others from their heart and not just because they want to make money or they are discharging their professional duty as staff members of any given organisation.

Wherever you may be located in Australia, if you come across issues or situations that affect you and you would like to share that with us to ensure others do not go through the same thing in the future, please   contact us and let us know. You can also contact us if you are or have been successful in anything that others may be interested in and want to share the experience.
